My wife and daughter have gone to India, to spend time with the grand parents, leaving my lonely and hating my job. She's just a little over two, but has an opinion on things. Her grandparents asked her what she thought of India? "India nice. India dirty." While I'd want her to grow up with a slightly better view of India, and in time I hope those are not her only feelings about India. However, I appreciate the honesty. I love the honesty. It takes guts and an attitude to have that kind of honesty, and its difficult to keep. It pisses some people off, but then so does diplomacy. Doesn't it? Let me be honest with you baby. Honesty is probably not always the best policy, and not always the easiest either. Just like your words. Its simple. It undeniable. It helps you be sane and happy in the long run. Finally, coming this straight from you, it makes me happy .
A blog about the realisations that I've had as a parent of a beautiful baby girl.
